What a really amazing little place! A great add-on to a morning in East Park. It's only about half an hour to go around and see all the aninlas, but it's so well kept and interesting it's a great way to spend the time. The bird house was a particular highlight and a favourite of our kids. Free entry and free parking was a very welcome surprise too. We'll done to the team running this site.
The animal Education Centre in East Park is a nice modern building. It is ideal for children to learn about animals. There is a large main hall and a couple of separate classrooms and toilets. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. There is an excellent walk through avery full of different species of birds. They used to have a lot of alpacas although I didn't see any today, most of the barns seemed closed up but there were guinea pigs and goats. Best of all it is free.
Great free place for everyone
