We thought the price was high (14PS per person), but with a young child it was really worthwhile going. We saw the fox feeding and there lots of animals around, including animals that you can feed. The meerkats were lovely! Friendly staff and a nice play area for the kids. We spent 2 and half hours there and it was a lovely sunny day
The price was extremely high, in my opinion. I took 4 grandchildren with me, I did manage to get in as senior, over 60yrs, for PS12 but all the children were PS14 each. If I had gone for the family of 5, ticket I would have paid more at PS70. We added 3bags of food. The animals were good, the children loved feeding them. There was an outdoor play area, but to get to it, you had to walk through very muddy grass. There were 3 trampolines, but the sign said only 2 people on one at a time. There was no supervision there and some people were trying to put their children on with mine. The crazy golf looked like it had been packed away in a small fenced in area, but later we saw some people using it. You could get more than one family at a time in there. The kids loved the indoor play area, but they soon got bored after going round a couple of times. Also to many pay rides in there.
Honestly one of the worst farms I have ever been too. I have been to a fair few with two young children and like I said this place is awful!! Animals look completely unhappy and their cages and enclosures are dirty and un kept. Water ride advertised is no longer working and obviously hasn't been for some time, no roller coaster as advertised. Buildings are falling apart just like the enclosures, the whole place is incredibly in need of some time and attention to the cleanliness and state of the farm in needed ASAP!!! Soft play is ok best place of the farm but slides ect don't slide? Absolutely waste of PS60!!!!!!!! Can happily say I will never ever be stepping back into this place again
I'm sat in here right now and it's a joke for the price. Unkempt a mess and not well maintained non of the rides work there is stingers sticking out everywhere health hazard to kids. I just paid PS60 to come in this dump caught my leg on a massive stinger outside the enclosure. Theme park there is no rides the keepers were just all sitting there staring at me because I was complaining about the state of the place. Please don't waste your money on this! The only thing that is ok is the indoor play area and the animals but they look sad and not looked after properly all their enclosures are a mess!
A lovely park that just needs a bit more attention. We arrived shortly after opening. Plenty of car park space. Staff at reception were really friendly and offered information about the park and their pet cats who were free roaming the reception area. Although the lights were on it felt very dark and a few of the staff only areas were visible. These were not the most inviting sights to begin our day. We ventured to the first barn where some of the reptiles and other small animals were housed. The animals all looked healthy but their cages did not. We were faced with cages that were too dirty to see through the glass. A member of staff was roaming in and out of some the cages and would proclaim random facts on the animals. It seemed like the food and water were changed and maybe bedding added on top. One rabbits cage clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long while. There was a thick web that I initially thought was a shelf in the cage before we realised. We swiftly left this barn and decided not to go back for the reptile talk. We moved towards the cages outside which seemed cleaner. Although the racoon cage appeared to be made from scraps of leftover supplies. The further walk seemed to have larger cages with a variety of animals to see and feed. We had a couple goats follow us around and it was a little unclear if they should be out. The hand cleaning stations were out of soap but as were the first there this was disappointing. Some of the cages looked new and Solid. The deer cage had a hole in it but the fence was held up by a cone to the next cage. I assume this was on purpose. The sheep were held in by a loose chicken wire fence which seemed ok but also flimsy. There was a great castle climbing area for children. The trampoline park was a little bare with wonky benches for you to sit on while the kids played. We did not enter the soft play area as some families walked out saying it was filthy and not ok for the kids. We decided not to use the toilet facilities or get food here. Generally I feel this is a good place. It has some great elements and everything is there. It just needs a bit of a clean up and maybe some paint in places.
I wish I could give more stars but it's 2024 and neglect on animals, really? Outside is brilliant, don't fault it there. But the animals inside? One rabbit in a plastic type enclosure, no natural light, no enrichment and on its own. A group of mixed tortoises which is crazy because if you understand tortoises, curtains breeds kill each other. A terrapin enclosure was literally a plastic box and water. They need enrichment too. A chipmunk that could barely walk on its back legs. Then the rabbits with open pens but wet hay and poo everywhere, flies everywhere - fly strike can happen in a few hours. It's so sad to see. You also don't notice a few animals because there are no signs, mongoose bless all hidden away and others at the far end. Only one staff member we saw the whole 4 hours who was feeding the animals with some children. Can't fault the soft play, toilets clean and accessible, we had lunch and that was basic and good priced. Just please help those animals in the barn, even some fans as well for the heat in there. I wanted to raise the concerns with the staff member at reception but again one lady on her own with a que of people. Also can't fault all the information on animals everywhere, now that's fantastic and we all enjoyed learning about the animals. * And no sanitiser anywhere, hand dryers don't work which is fine but nothing else to dry your hands with. Not great after goats slobbering over your hands.
