The Apple Store Cafe, located in the beautiful walled garden and glasshouse at Wyresdale Park, boasts a full cafe-menu of overstuffed sandwhiches, hearty homemade soups and scrumptious cakes.
Took a lil' drive to the quaint village of Scorton and had a lovely lunch at our fave cafe in the area. Thoroughly enjoyed the slow-cooked pulled beef brisket on ciabatta served with roasted onions, horseradish, roasting stock gravy, skin on fries plus slaw and Leek & potato soup. Cosy ambiance, charming walled garden and glasshouse with hearty meals ~ ticks all the boxes for us. I highly recommend this place.
Lovely Cafe to have breakfast or lunch. Service was quick and food cooked just right. Dog friendly. Good selection.
Only an overall 1 star for this place. Expected a lot more as so many of my friends recommended it. But in reality it wasn't good. Visiting on a Monday morning there was room on the car park. This is NOT a place to visit if you are managing a mobility disability. Path to restaurant quite difficult. Steps with single handrail into the eating area. Tables are rickety. So are the chairs. We just chose a bacon / egg bap and a latte each. The bacon was cooked nicely but sadly lacked flavour. The coffees were brought to the table with most of the coffee swilling out of the cups when the young lady was carrying them to the table. Overall disappointing. Tried it once. Don't need to go again
We went here today for the first time We were made very welcome and had the best scones we have ever had!! The home made jam Carole gave us was to die for!! It's a must visit
We had a Father's Day lunch and absolutely loved the food and the service was fab! The goats cheese salad on the special was amazing :)
It is a lovely place, we sat outside with the dog and it feels very private as the benches are far apart in the garden. Food was excellent. And we bought cakes to take home. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
