I had a wonderful Twilight Spa session at Aqua Sana Spa in Longleat this month. The variety of hot and cold therapies on offer, particularly the steam rooms, cold showers, and ice bath, were great for my relaxation and refreshment. A dedicated, full-on ice bath for muscle recovery would be a great addition I think. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it for a session of self-care.
Just had an amazing classic spa day with a friend. So many different rooms to try. It never felt busy, and we often had a room to ourselves. I reckon Fridays will be much quieter than weekend, as it is one of the change over days for main park. The food and drinks in cafe were very good. The staff were all really friendly, relaxed and helpful. At PS119 it was a real treat, but we were there 8 hours, and felt it was actually great value , especially as included breakfast and lunch. There was even a complimentary sleep/relaxing session (guided relaxation technique). Already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you all for a fantastic day.
Really nice spa with loads to do. Really nice experience even without treatment. Lovely food, very well maintained. Polite and friendly staff. I'm not sure this spa can be beaten in terms of what it delivers for the money (in the UK at least). Definitely worth a visit. Wasn't too busy either despite it being a Friday during summer holidays.
Amazing spa, had a lovely 3 hours in here but could have spent far longer! Great selection of different rooms and experiences. Staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Best spa I've ever been to - clean, relaxing and high quality / luxury experience.
We've done the clasic day spa, 9 to 5, on a Saturday. We chose this spa based on the reviews we've read, but we left a bit disappointed, and this is why. We drove for 2 hours to get there, for our honey weekend. The spa is in a great location, didn't mind driving through the woods, nice views. The place is a lot smaller than expected. We had breakfast and lunch included, but we ended up buying some extras as the portions were very small, and the prices are extremely high. The 2 hot tubs outside we're always occupied, didn't have the chance to relax in one, even though we've checked every half an hour. Couldn't really wait outside as it was chilly and we were wet. The silent rooms were not silent at all( not the spas fault). People were snoring very loud, or there were groups of women chatting and laughing, which defeats the purpose of the rooms. We managed to get in the main pool almost at the end of the day, as, again, always full of people. Unfortunately it was very busy and so we had to wait even for the steam rooms to clear a little so we can find a place to sit down. Now to better things, the place is very clean, it looks really nice, and the stuff are very friendly. Per total, me personally, I don't think it's worth the money.
We did the Afternoon Tea spa and the food was very nice. The spa was clean, nice facilities, nice team members etc. We weren't staying at Centre Parcs so it was a 1.5 hour drive each way from home but it looked like one of the best spas around. We visited on a Saturday and it was too busy to be very relaxing, but got quieter after 5pm. We heard other people saying the spa wasn't big enough for the resort. There are only 2 hot tubs, sitting 4/5 people each and they were always busy. We ended up having to sit out in the cold for 20 minutes to wait for a space. The water beds too, there weren't enough of and we gave up trying to use them. The main sauna wasn't particularly hot. It would be good if there was a separate entrance to the car park for day users rather than driving round the entire park to get there. I'm not sure why there was no option on the website to visit the spa for just a few hours, only an all day pass or one including brunch or afternoon tea, which makes it quite expensive. Perhaps because it's already very busy. I doubt we'll go back, maybe only if we were staying on the resort.
