we walked here from the canal and spent time in the well kept bird house where you can observe the whole lake up close
Largest mere in the West Midlands. There is a pleasant walk part way around the mere and local woods; which has beautiful relaxing views. Just check that it has been dry as you will otherwise need wellies.
Great place for walking in the nature. There is a small carpark, where you can park and take a walk into the forest. Beautiful Bluebell spread out in the ground next to walk path. If you walk for about 10 minutes you can see Birds Hide. Lots of cows and other animals.
Beautiful National Nature Reserve, good walks, great bird hide. Lots of spring bluebells. Limited parking. No facilities. You can bike ride from Newport Shropshire. Take your litter home if picnicing, dogs on leads as cattle or horses may be grazing.
Small and beautiful. Great bird hide and stunning bluebells!
Very small carpark room for about 10 cars. Lovely lake with birds there will be lots of bluebells here in May.
