Ardnamurchan Campsite is a tranquil retreat nestled in the rugged landscape of western Scotland. The campsite is situated on a scenic peninsula surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding waters and the nearby islands of Coll and Tiree. The site itself is set amidst rolling hills and rugged moorland, providing a sense of seclusion and connection with nature. Visitors can enjoy a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, birdwatching, and fishing, or simply relax and take in the serene atmosphere.
Excellent location, spacious pitches and really welcoming and friendly owner. Managed to find us a spot on the same day I rang. Location is beautiful overlooking the water. Lovely hot showers and nice and clean. I suppose it's basic in the fact that it has only a couple of toilets and showers but give me that any day over a huge touring site. Close to ferry terminal to Mull. Short walk to a little shop which does hot food in the day. Would love to return. Wish we could have stayed longer. Dog-friendly.
Awesome campsite on the edge of the water, great views of Mull and passing boats. Very close to the ferry port to hop across to Tobermory for the day. Two showers and two toilets for the whole site lets it down slightly but overall, great site to spend a few days relaxing. Loved our stay here. Good mobile signal too!
The most beautiful campsite I've ever stayed at. Really peaceful with an incredible view and right beside the shore. The facilities were always clean and there was plenty of hot water. It's not fussy, and you might have to queue for 5 minutes for the washing up but honestly if you're complaining about that then camping probably isn't for you.
This is a very quiet site. They only have a few pitches, but all have fantastic views across to Mull. Only amenities are small toilet block with 2 cubicles and 2 showers. They are very clean though. This is a perfect site for people who want to get away from it all. It's at the end of a single track road, with very little traffic. The sound of silence is so calming.
Absolutely beautiful view of the sea and the island of mull from your tent. We were lucky enough to spot a seal while sitting on our camp chairs. 5 minute drive to the ferry port to mull. The toilets and showers could do with being updated. They are cold and have no hand dryers.
A great little find on our unplanned (we never plan) tour of Scotland.|Be warned the drive to it is uncertain and you may think you have gone wrong but persevere and you will find it.|Great views of the mountains and sea, great for watching wildlife, we saw sea otters!|Although the facilities are a little dated they were clean and well maintained and the showers were nice and hot.
