We did the lovely circular walk from the car park, using a leaflet we found at the Harris Eagle observatory. There is a good path and it takes in a viewpoint, observatory and Paul's shed which is by a small loch (go inside and read about Paul and his colleagues and the tragic reason the shed is here).
