Arlington Reservoir is a scenic spot in East Sussex, England, featuring a large lake surrounded by rolling hills and woodlands. The reservoir is a popular spot for walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers, offering several miles of trails and scenic views. The surrounding countryside is dotted with picturesque villages and historic landmarks, making it an ideal base for exploring the region.
A really nice circular walk. It was very windy around the wall of the reservoir, and you couldn't do this route with a mobility scooter as there are gates to go through. The pram was able to fit no problem though. Parking all day was PS2.50 and there is a small hut to get food and drinks from just by the toilets which were very clean.
Easy walk around this reservoir on a well maintained path, there is a bird hide en route, sadly not much in view today. There is a car park, a cafe and toilets, and dogs are welcome, but I think have to be kept on a lead. Very pleasant place for people of all ages, splendid views of the Downs in the distance.
My sister uses a mobility scooter and she did manage to get round in the loop, although there are kissing-gates that could be tricky for a wheelchair to get through. Nice walk and good to see the birds on the reservoir. It was an easy hour long walk for the dogs too.
Lovely walk. Parking reasonable priced
A fairly good walk around the reservoir. Some wooded areas. Dogs are allowed must be kept on their leads at all times. There are no poo bins provided so be prepared to carry it with you. A nice cafe and a bench area to sit in located in the car park which is pay and display.
It is supposedly dog friendly. It took an age to get here through shocking delays due to works on A27 only to find it's dogs on lead friendly only. Apparently an hours circular walk which took me 37 minutes. The only bonus was the lovely little cafe shack, great toastie
