Perched on the hills of the Isle of Arran, this viewpoint offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the surrounding landscape, including the Firth of Clyde and the Ayrshire coast. On a clear day, visitors can see as far as the Holy Isle and the Kintyre Peninsula. The viewpoint is surrounded by rolling hills, heather-covered moors, and picturesque farmland, making it a haven for nature lovers and photographers. A short walk from the car park, the viewpoint is easily accessible and features a small information board detailing the history and geology of the area.
Just a slightly wider passing place, with most of the area roped off. Still a nice photo-op of Arran.
Despite the roads being quite, as soon as we arrived here, it was congested with the entire population (4 cars!). Once they cleared, apart from the views, we don't think we have ever heard such 'silence', for so long, ever. It was the most peaceful and surreal experience. Definitely worth stopping at, but there's only room for a few cars, less if people don't think about others when they park.
Amazing
