Lovely walk with the dog, loads of space to run. Little stream with a few Little waterfalls. You can do a few little gym exercises as you walk around on the exercise equipment they have put up.
A truly beautiful place to visit, lots of space to walk a dog, or play Poo-Sticks! It even has Standing Stones & stunning gates!
Nice country park with beautiful landscape and lush green outfields. Feel quite close to nature with nice walk paths and lots of trees around.
Took my little grandson yesterday for a walk around. Not been here for a few years. You now have to pay to park but luckily the machine was off, probably due to covid. Not much has changed but the playarea is not as tidy as it could be and used to be. The first challenge is to actually get in.... There was a MASSIVE puddle right by the gate. Needs sorting! Walked around and ended up crossing the golf course to get back lol. Nice expanse of green area and probably only scratched the surface of what it can truely offer.
Came here for a 5k race in Sep 23'. With plenty of running trails, woodland forest areas and green spaces, a great way to spend a weekend afternoon, one of many good running trails on the Wirral. The park itself is small but has plenty of trails perfect for running or walking your dogs as well as picnic areas and playgrounds for kids to go on. Coming from Liverpool city centre it can be a bit tricky to get to but just a 15min walk from the bus with nearby parking available too.
A beautiful place with fantastic dog walks. Highly recommended by me and my dog.
