Ashburton Park is small but lovely. However, today, the grass was quite long and not pleasant to sit on. If you're not bothered about that, it's a nice place to have a quiet stroll or picnic. There is a tennis and basketball court plus a nice children's park with a cafe attached to it.
Small park but lovely for a wander around during nice weather. As a Pokemon go player this park has a good amount of Pokestops for events etc if you don't want to have to go far from home. Food places and transport all close by.
Went to the funfair here on 9th August with the kids, PS9.99 per person for a 4 hour session and free rides as many times as you like. Prefer this way as much more cost effective. Kids had a brilliant time, and there was even a splash pool and sand pit for the kids. Only down side was the toilets.

There are football goals for sports enthusiasts and benches around to sit down for those less active. There are a lot of nice dog owners who walk their dogs and a great spot to meet nice dogs.
