A picturesque waterfall located in the Peak District National Park, Derbyshire, England, Ashworth Waterfall is a natural wonder that cascades down a rocky slope, creating a misty veil that surrounds the area. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and moss-covered stones, adding to its serene and tranquil atmosphere. The gentle roar of the water as it flows over the edge of the rock face creates a soothing background noise, making it a perfect spot for relaxation and contemplation.
Beautiful waterfall hidden away in the valley of mills that once existed. Not easily accessible. Even during the middle of the summer the dirt tracks to get towards it are still very slippy and steep. I highly advise you wear some good footwear. It was also fun to see some of the old graffiti took some of the rails on the road dating back from the early 80's and so on. But the area itself remains tranquil
Ashworth Waterfall is a hidden gem that offers a delightful experience. The scenic beauty is captivating, with the waterfall cascading gracefully into a serene pool. The surrounding nature trail is well-maintained and perfect for a relaxing hike. The tranquility of the area provides a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Highly recommended for nature lovers and anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful setting.
A very beautiful, peaceful place without people. Perfect for lazy Saturdays walk.
Beautiful unexpected surprise on my walk. Unfortunately even on a hot, dry day it was very treacherous (a very steep, slippy, muddy trek) to get down to the actual mills ruins. So I couldn't get close.
A beautiful waterfall. Wear sensible footwear to get to it. As it's down a steepish ravine so take care. . Was a little busy when we went
Beautiful place to wall. On your way, you may meet horses and dogs. Perfect for resting your mind.
