This historic manner house restored to its old glory is a nice visit to anyone who fancies museums, English history, and architecture. The long hall with its accompanying music is a must experience. Got a small outdoor garden as well. There is a gift shop and toilet facilities as well.

Beautiful mansion, with selection of historic interiors from different periods (XVII-XIX centuries), including kitchen and servants' areas. Characteristic smell - aged wood and museum dust, some may love it, some may hate it but definitely worth visiting.

Beautiful Jacobean house full of historical detail. The part played in the civil war by the hall is fascinating. The damage to the stair bannister caused by a cannonball can still be seen. The long gallery was very atmospheric. It is easy to understand why some folk believe this to be the most haunted Hall in the UK. The gardens were small but interesting. The cafe had a limited supply of food (no sandwiches just chocolate bars) so eat elsewhere before or after your visit.

A most unexpected visit. Considering it's age and especially location, they've done extremely well to retain and maintain the building being council owned. A lack of furniture is a shame but it heightens your experience of the architecture. Beautiful workmanship inside and out. At least I now know why the football ground's home end is called the Holte End.

Visited this amazing hall on a Saturday mid January. Aston Hall is a beautiful Jacobean house set in its own grounds. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. If you're in the area and you're into architecture and family history then I would highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed.
