Lovely scenery. Outdoor climbing. Phenomenal kids play park with wonderful historical links. Canal walks and Cafe near by. No public toilets.
Lovely place to visit also some trails and mountain climbing opportunities
Lovely place to go for a walk along the nature trail, great playpark for the kids and climbers, climb the rock facing regularly, lovely pond area too with swans ducks and young too.
Good size car park and very well built kids play area suitable for kids of all ages. Water in the quarry was frozen and was a side activity for kids to throw ice on. Kids play area is fenced so you are comfortable that kids will stay in their area and not go near water without your knowledge.
Kids love it. Plenty for them to do, sometimes there's an ice cream van but there's shops within 10mins drive from it. The cliff face is regularly used for climbing by a club so that's always interesting to watch too. Very nice place to be.
