Lots of activities throughout the day. They've gone full on for the dinosaur theme which is slightly random but the kids liked it. The "quad bikes" are extortionate at PS2.50 for less than 2 mins and it's just a little ride on thing. Lots of opportunities to feed the animals, tractor ride, mini train ride, play areas and loads more. The candy cannon was pretty cool, again very popular with the kids. Slip n slide was fab, but they needed to open more than one lane as the kids had to wait a long time. Bring your towels and a change of clothes! We bought tickets in advance and they do Blue light discount too which saved money. Take away coffees were very slow. I'd recommend it for a day out but it is quite expensive if you have a larger family.
Amazing day with our Granddaughters. You can make a full day of it and the staff were all very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Aside from food once you have paid everything is free no hidden costs
Did the camping at Avon Valley, Nice small quiet campsite, the showers are excellent and toilets are good (plane a 1/2 Inch off the bottom of the toilet doors so the kids can shut them properly and you'll be good) The Avon Valley site is very good (free entry with camping) there's enough to do there for a day /2 day stay, the food is good, the bar has happy hour and 25% off, There are a few things that need additional cost, climbing wall @PS3, and quads at PS2.50 a shot, All other stuff is free, kids especially liked the Dino valley jeeps (basically the centre Parc jeep experience for free instead of PS40 each) and spent many many times going around the track Que times are good, max about 15 min wait for the jeeps, Don't miss the Candy cannon at 1.30, = 400 harribo sent into the air at high speed to catch see vid, The site is open to campers after park shuts, which was a bonus, all in all a good experience
Worth a day trip, visited with kids aged 5 & 12, they really enjoyed the activities. Toy Train ride, Dino interaction, Soft play, Sand pit, kids off-road driving, dinosaurs, Candy cannon, manual go kart, Foam party etc
Pretty disappointing Dinosaur staffed events (their first day doing them, in fairness). Specifically: not ready for the 11am Raptor Experience so queued for 20 mins in 22deg heat only for it to be cancelled. Next showing at 1pm :-/ Tried a nearby staffed event at 1130am "Research Lab". The exhibit couldn't fit all the people but instead of batching people into groups, we were left confused and not able to hear the actors. There was basically nothing to do inside ("Research Lab") and they got the kids to scream at the top of their lungs right in front of our 2 year-old (he cried) so - just - poor management. Seems like yet another entrepreneurial park staffed by teenagers doing their best but let down by lack of management oversight/help. We gave up on the managed events and had a better time. On the way out we tried the "Live Viewing" or something. Was a tent with a projector and some benches in it. Lots of doorways seemed like routes to see more but were like broom closets or storage areas. Just atrocious. Amateurish. Highlights; lots of trees for shade and bins so easy to ditch rubbish (and not overflowing), robotic outdoor dinosaurs were generally cool and not seen that before. Water games/tools in the outdoor sandpit/park were great, especially on a hot day (was probably 22 today). Paid PS9 per parent average with voucher, or PS6 each for the 3 of us, and only just worth it. They should have had a day to practice everything yesterday to avoid disappointments. I would set your expectations low and you should have an 'ok' day.
It's been a couple of years since we'd last visited, and I'd heard some mixed reviews from people on some of the additional features that has been added. However, following our visit in August 2024, happy to say that the family all had a fantastic time. there's plenty to do for all ages. Quality of food has definitely improved and most importantly (thinking of Parents here!) the coffee is pretty good! Thank you for a thoroughly good day out.
