A picturesque coastal spot in Norfolk, Bacton Beach boasts soft, golden sands and calm, clear waters perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports. The beach is backed by low cliffs and a strip of dunes, providing a natural shelter from the wind. At low tide, the beach reveals a vast expanse of sand, ideal for beachcombing and spotting interesting shells and pebbles. The tranquil atmosphere and scenic views make Bacton Beach a popular spot for relaxation and recreation.
Excellent beach, very nice in the morning for a long scroll, totally beautiful and peaceful, wasn't a soul on the beach the whole day we were there. Had a few alarms from the gas worksbut could live with that, would stay there again for a long weekend,
Extensive, sandy beach with walks around the edge. Some parts are dog friendly which are indicated at various intervals. Was very windy and refreshing. Didn't see much in the way of facilities around the beach area but I may not have gone far enough. Surrounded by holiday parks. People were very friendly.
Gorgeous stretches of sandy beach some of which are dog friendly. We stayed for a week in July it was practically deserted.
This was our plan B for the day. The beach itself looked very nice, however, it's 1st June, and I don't think I've felt this cold for a long long time. 3 days ago I was in Singapore, this was too much of a shock to my body. I would like to return on a warm sunny day, because it looks like a very nice place for a refreshing walk. I give 4 stars because of it's potential.
A stunning, quiet sandy beach with dunes.
Quite a pretty beach. There is a very clean public toilet and a few shops nearby
On-site services
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
