Redeveloped mining land with woodland trails, an aerial ropes course, sensory garden and play area.
We hadn't been for years and wanted a to go for a walk. Good pathways, some a bit steep, but ok for us. Just got a little lost with the trail signage( might need updating to make it clearer) Otherwise a good walk round by the lakes. Toilet area was clean. And we had a drink in the cafe. Plenty of paid parking. And a good play area for younger children. Very enjoyable
Lovely place for a day out . PS3.50 all day parking ( cash or app) play area for kids ,zip line etc, plenty of places to picnic , no BBQ allowed. Great 1hr circular trek through the woods . Shop/cafe for hot drinks/ ice cream etc . Free Mini railway ( check website to see what days it runs on ) Loved this place ,will visit again.
Great country park with lots of things to do. The kids can play in the play area or wait for a train ride (free of charge.. donations welcomed). Or you can go for a nature trail or have a picnic. There is something to do for everyone. There is also a cafe that serves food, ice cream etc.
Lovely place, plenty of parking. Park has plenty for kids to do, they had a fun fair I. The meadow and a small ride on train and track near park. Toilets near park, lots of picnic space. Walks nice but we could have don't with some signs to show us different walks. Lovely little place and easy to find
Beautiful area to walk, toilets, cafe, kids playground, pools and so much more. Would highly recommend a visit.
