A medieval five-arched bridge spanning the River Wye in Bakewell, Derbyshire, England, built in the 14th century and featuring pointed arches, chamfered ribs, and a narrow pedestrian walkway.
What a wonderful place to visit.I will definitely come in again
If you are in the area then have a quick pop to this bridge. Some of the locks are very sweet to read. Plenty of ducks in the water which adds to the scenery.
Fantastic place, a little queue in the tasty fish and chips. Had a nice walk along the river side, kids can enjoy the play in the park. Uncountable Love locks on the bridge.
Very picturesque! Watched the ducks as we sat on a bench in the green by the water. Grabbed a Bakewell tart beforehand so enjoyed it with the veiw. There's a car park on the other side on the bridge, pay-and-display. It was quite busy, because it was a nice summers day and it's just outside the main town, over the bridge.
Nice place to visit, picturesque town and well known bridge
Lovely stone bridge you can walk, cycle, run, drive or skip across. Knock yourself out. Beautiful riverside walking along the Wye! Most enjoyable even on a rainy day. It is England after all so pack your waterproofs!
