A nice enough spot. Good for some nature watching, I would assume, but not a lot going on, really. Was nice for a brief stop and some photos, but I'm not sure if I'd suggest anyone go out of their way to stop off here.
A gorgeous and secluded beach just down from Portaferry. Utterly delightful.
Great wee stop off. Opportunity to see seals. Happy dogs. Be mindful of tides. Acess low tide only
A fantastic spot from the road nearby to watch a sunset unfolding over Strangford Lough, looking towards the Mourne Mountains!
Lovely spot close to the northern end of Strangford Lough's "Narrows". A great place to admire the scenery with views up and down the lough as well as across to the Castle Ward estate and beyond to the Mourne mountains. Lots of seabirds to be seen and sometimes a few seals as well.
The beauty of Strangford Lough at its very best...one piece of advice!.. TAKE YOUR RUBBISH HOME PLEASE!
Good for kids
