Nice quiet village, art exhibition, gift shop cafe, worth a visit if passing
Today we visited the balmacara estate to wander the woodland walks. The place did not disappoint! We found lots of mushrooms and were constantly serenaded by birds. Sadly no other wildlife but I'm sure it's there, hiding! The walk was very up and down. Some of the paths were quite challenging and had a lot of steep drops but it was worth it!
What a wonderful find. We were on the way down to Fort Augustus and I spotted a side on the side of the road. A beautiful tranquil village in a fantastic setting. Great little cute shop with plenty of interesting things. Friendly and helpful member of staff
