Museum and garden preserved as it was in 1975, with sculptures, drawings, photographs and documents.
Absolutely loved this tiny museum and its wonderful gardens. Must visit! Haven of tranquility in touristy St Ives. Stunning sculptures, wonderfully designed garden. Although not big you can easily spend an hour to capture the inspiring and wonderful atmosphere. Loved it.
An exceptional space tucked away in the bustle of St Ives. The house and internal exhibition space are beautiful and well paced to really see and get a feel for her creative process and life. However the garden is absolutely exceptional. Such an incredible green space in the middle of town. The sculptures, the planting, the views, the seating areas, everything speaks to each other so wonderfully that I lingered much longer than planned. I can't imagine returning to St Ives and not returning to this fantastic exhibition.
A real hidden gem in St Ives and a must for all art lovers. The garden in particular is fantastic - a selection of key pieces position by Hepworth herself. An inspiring insight into a very important artist. Tickets are well priced and staff are welcoming.
Stunning I love this museum. Barbara Hepworth was so talented and inspirational. Beautiful sculptures and the garden is so pretty.
Highly recommended a visit at this beautiful garden museum while in St.Ives. Seeing many of Hepworth's great sculptures displayed quietly and gently at the garden makes me feel very rewarding and peaceful in mind.
Most beautiful Sculpture Garden. Always worth a visit. It's part of The Tate, and a great experience.
