This 19th-century lodge is a striking example of Victorian Gothic Revival architecture, featuring a grandiose clock tower, ornate stonework, and a richly decorated interior.
Lovely place! Nice walk with a dog!
Wasn't actually in it , I walk my dog past it and around castle gardens, a spectacular place if you like flowers and greenery, woodland with duck ponds, a great nature walk, with exercise gear all along the river there is also loads of squirrels in abundance.
Only reason 1 star review is that the gate just threw the bridge that takes you into the castle gardens we're closed what's the point in opening the Barbican gates when the iron gates that are under the Dublin RD bridge are chained and padlocked closed ??? No sign or anything on the gates just closed
Always beautiful and in my home town
Went to enchanted lights excellent entered via the gate lodge
Could possibly be opened to the public. Lived in antrim all my life and always wanted to go inside.
Wheelchair-accessible car park
