A picturesque beach with soft, golden sand and calm, clear waters, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxation. The beach is surrounded by lush greenery and offers stunning views of the nearby coastline. Visitors can enjoy water sports, go for a leisurely walk along the shore, or simply sit back and take in the serene atmosphere.
The sea actually is beautiful, the beach is perfect but lacking the basic facilities like clean water to wash off the sand and mud. The toilet facilities were a bit off sight but they were Gross stunk so bad. As we came from afar so needed to be cleaned before getting back in the car. Other than that views around the beach were perfect. We actually really liked it. The kids had fun and we made some memories.
I went based on google reviews and photos with a friend, and was pleasantly surprised! I wasn't expecting too much, but this beach was lovely. Parking is right next to the beach, 2 parking areas, one right in front of it and one round the corner, with a 5 min walk up the dunes/bushes and onto the beach, PS1.50 for an hour and PS4 for 4 hours. The pay and display machines accept card/contactless as well as cash. The beach itself was empty around the time we arrived- 6:45pm-ish- only really a few locals chilling and walking their dogs. We had the beach pretty much to ourselves. Very friendly people. Lovely light coloured sand, clear-ish water. Loads of shells, crab shells, rocks to look at, though not a rocky/pebble beach at all. The only reason I deducted a star was bc a lady and her friend peed on a public pathway as we were leaving, saw them pulling their pants up just past the bushes as my friend and i walked up to the path to get to my car. There was a puddle left in the sand smack bang in the middle of the path on the dunes. That left me pretty annoyed, there are literally toilets five mins from the beach in the car park!! Other than this incident, an amazing beach- lovely enough that i took my mum here too a couple days after my first visit!
We've spent a lovely few hours here today. Tide was in when we came but was just on its way out. When tide is in there is little to no sand. But when the tide is out a beautiful sandy beach.
Very clean and dog friendly beach with a smallish parking area.
Miles and miles of open beach hardly a sole on it tthe puppies loved it
Fabulous beach, great for a paddle and sandcastle building. Dog friendly on this side of the beach, and there's usually a great ice cream van lurking.. Nice to walk down the promenade to the nova centre for a coffee or a different icecream shop. Very reasonable parking cha4ges and even loos in the carpark if needed
On-site services
