A 19th-century mansion house surrounded by 150 acres of parkland, featuring walking trails, a walled garden, and a variety of wildlife including deer and birds. The mansion itself showcases an impressive collection of art and antiques, including works by famous artists such as Gainsborough and Reynolds. Visitors can explore the opulent state rooms, including the grand ballroom and the impressive library. The park also offers a children's play area, a café, and a gift shop.
One of the best parks in Birmingham, not overcrowded, peaceful and scenic. Lovely to take children out or just go for a casual stroll
Barnford is a lovely park. I've been coming here for over 30 years... Started when I was a teenager at the old Langley High School, opposite on Moat Road. The park is always clean, well managed and has acres of paths and open spaces to explore and walk your dog, play sports, just be outdoors. Huge fan of the place!
Nice park with multiple open spaces ideal for throwing the ball for the dog. Multiple full sized football pitches, play areas for younger children, adventure playground which is ok, a real hedge maze, basketball court, skate ramp, outdoor gym equipment. Open 24 hours (no matter what maps says) but carpark closes early. Football on Sundays and quite busy when the sun shines
This is a nice park with a good amount of 'stuff' to do with the kids. There's a maze, rose walk, could of playgrounds, skate park, exercise equipment and a really beautiful meadow at the bottom of the hill which, when the grass is long, provides the kids with a lot of fun and some lovely photos. The parking is good. Only downside is the lack of toilets on site.
Lovely, clean and tidy park. A number of great children's play areas, A fun hedge maze, exercise machines, and a large open grass field for ball games. On site car parking and an ice cream van regularly visits. What more could you ask for?
Nice big well kept tidy park, great for walking your dog, loads to do for the kids. should be a regular warden to look out for people that can't be bothered to clean up after their dogs, I take my dog for a walk there every morning and I haven't seen a warden in years.
