We are a very busy model railway club with lots happening. We have a website which is regularly updated and there are events, where we offer rides to the public. Please look at our diary. We are also looking for new members to help us grow our club and help with projects which we build, for example, we are currently building a 71/4 inch Black 5
Went to a flea market very big plenty of parking refreshments available bit of a queue to get out of the show ground about 25 minutes we would go again.
Being a fairly young now passed member and loco owner it's not great, I'm going off my experience there, the track is quite lovely but never experienced it as a member of the public. Most people are quite nice there but the people that pass steam boilers are quite the opposite especially after I told them I had certurn learning difficulties and quite frankly I would say to anyone who is young to avoid the place like the plague and head down the road to the east Somerset railway and not waist what little time you have at such a place. Real shame as such a nice place and my experience has put me off joining another club.
Always something to do at Bath and West. We'll worth a visit with what ever your interested in.
I went to the VMCC auto jumble today lots of stalls ideal if you are looking for British motorcycle parts or if you are a motorcycle enthusiast, the only thing that let it down were the hundreds if not thousands of irresponsible people not wearing face masks especially the fact that most of the people were over 40 you all let the motorcycle community down, it's no wonder we get bad press what is it "you don't understand" there is over 150 people a day dying of COVID-19, But I still had a great day out, highly recommended.
Or little granddaughter loved it so much we had to go twice. Great VFM too.
Absolutely lovely little railway. Not really a day out on its own, but certainly worth the visit if you're passing/ visiting B+W.
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
