What an amazing place!! Very large Arboretum overlooking some amazing views Takes about 2 hours to walk round but you can easily spend longer Paths are easy to follow with so many beautiful trees Dog friendly Great place for kids to explore Lovely restaurant for refreshments after Flapjack and brownie are amazing Dogs welcome too Nice shop and garden centre Would definitely recommend
Excellent place to visit and plenty to see, nice surrounding and wasn't too crowed. Definitely worth popping in. Quite a walk (about 60 acres all in all) but plenty of benches to stop for a rest. Excellent cafe albeit a tad expensive. Great garden centre on site will plenty to see and buy.
Lovely place to spend an hour or two. There are some great views over the sloping hills of the Cotswolds. We had a perfect day to visit - sunny and dry. There are some hilly paths, but if you take it slow, nothing is too strenuous. An added bonus: the food in their cafe is quite good!
Beautiful and peaceful - definitely worth a visit. A great size arboretum to walk round, with some lovely trees and stunning views.
It takes about an hour to get around. Lots of different trees and plants from other countries, bridges, rivers and water falls. Cafe and garden centre on-site with a gift shop. Dogs are very welcome. Lots of parking which is free. PS10 with gift aid to get in and the tickets are valid all day, you can leave and return if you wish. Amazing view points throughout the walk of the Cotswolds. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.
WOW !!!! absolutely love this garden centre ! Spotlessly clean in ALL areas , lovely polite staff and with a lovely ( warm ) WELCOMING cafe . What's even better and I've never EVER experienced it before is that 95% of the cafe is welcoming to people with dogs and with the other remaining 5% area dog free . What a refreshing change to be treat like you're normal with a dog . In comparison we also visited the Stratford garden centre ( not dobbies ) and asked where the dog section was and was told bluntly that it was outside on the patio ! It's was raining , cold and not covered so we left . Batsford garden centre, you rock we holiday to Stratford every year and you are now going to be our garden centre of choice . Absolutely brilliant and thank you
