He was a great communicator and held everyone's interest during the tour. Pricing was very reasonable. Tea, coffee, and snacks were available, as well as a well stocked gift shop. Well, it's worth a visit. Recommended.

And a bonus, they brought the Lancaster bomber out of the hanger and started it up. Loud but great. A lovley one andhour and a half tour. Good cafe and gift shop And for plane spotters you can see the RAF Typhoons take off.

Shame the dakota isn't there currently but won't be long till it returns. There is a board letting you know what planes currently are there. Usually through the week they all are.
Placed on a live airbase - this is something worth every penny of the admission charge . Its guided tour- lasts 11/2 hrs and takes you around a live hanger to see the planes . Very knowledgeable guide - who is open to any questions as you wander around. Small but lovely museum and gift shop plus a cafe . You leave thinking you've done a good turn helping keep these things airborne! It is our history znd long may it be remembered!

Very interesting guided tour and being so close to the famous aircraft it's a real pleasure with lots of opportunities to take photos. Your visit also helps to preserve these incredible historic aircraft. Another big bonus is that this is on a working RAF base so you can drive just up the road and watch Typhoons flying! What's not to like?
