Berkshire's only wildlife park. A 350-acre riverside adventure with 160 wildlife species from all over the world, beautiful gardens, a train, cafes and play areas.
Good park, a picnic oriented place.. Can't fully say it's a wild life park.. If you're seeking to see many wildlife animals it's not the right place.. If you're looking for a place to enjoy picnic and see some animals it's the best choice.
Lovely place. Kids would enjoy this place. Lots to learn and see. Plus the play area is huge with lots of fun activities. Loved the train ride as well!!
Wonderful day, lovely gardens and trees, animals and birds. Has areas of beauty and relaxing for adults. However also a great place for children with lots for things for them to see, activities to do. Lots of seats and grassy areas to have picnics, apparently in peak season there are a few cafes, only one with limited selection was open when we went.
It's a small wildlife park so take around 1 hour to walk around, the train ride is fun to go on, which circles around. There's a small gift shop on the way out and 2 cafes selling a small menu of lunch time food. The chicken nuggets we ordered were tasty.
So lots of positives from our day here today. Reasonable cost to get in, free train ride included in ticket cost and some talks, animal feeds, silent disco also comes with ticket price. So much to do for children, at least 4 decent large play areas, big sand pit, and the big paddling pool with some deck chairs and parasols around. Even on a hot weekend day like today it wasn't unbearably busy. very pretty grounds, some nice areas to walk through with sculptures etc All staff from ticket entrance to train driver to the knowledgeable people running talks etc are super friendly and helpful Few negatives. Some areas are quite run down and definitely in need of a repaint! The Japanese garden in particular, paint peeling and faded sadly lets down what could be really beautiful Food offerings are not the best. Small cafe for the size of the park, standard cafe food ok just quite basic. Some nice food vans around the pool area but the ice cream van was way overpriced. PS4.50 for a small biscoff cone All in all had a good day and would return
