A 17th-century thatched cottage in the picturesque village of Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, featuring a charming beam structure, exposed brickwork, and a delightful garden, showcasing traditional English country architecture.
A lovely thatched rooved house with surrounding cottage garden opened as a charity fund raising event for the NGS on Sunday 30 June 2019. The cottage is about half a mile walk up and down a narrow tarmac road. The garden was a delight with lovely summer blooms and bushes to the left and rear of the property. It was lovely to talk with other visitors who were enjoying the summer sunshine in this lovely spot. Limited parking was available for disabled in a nearby farm yard but the garden is not really suitable for wheelchairs due to uneven paths.
Lovely gardens. My two year old son enjoyed running around all the different parts! He talks about going back to 'beam cottage' regularly!
Nice
