Fantastic local museum with lots of historical information that takes you back to yeater year. Lovely volunteers with the wealth of knowledge. Would certainly recommend going to have a look if you are in the area and it's open.
Only PS2 donation entrance fee. Not usually open on a Monday - but didn't realise & walked in. We received a very warm welcome. Run by local volunteers, but very professional exhibitions. Worth every penny! This year's summer exhibition features Crime & Punishment (wirh particular reference to Beaminster & the surrounding area).

Open Tuesday Thursday Saturday and Sunday (afternoon) Easter until Autumn - admission free, donations welcome. Staffed by friendly and knowledgeable local volunteers. Well worth a visit. Parking in square nearby with wide range of shops, cafes and restaurants!
