Wildlife & wildflowers are on view in this lakeside place with playgrounds & a fenced dog run.
Bedford Lakes is my favorite park always a good walk around the Lakes, you can see lots of birds in the Lake , Playground for the kids on both entrances, toilets and a small Farm with rescued animals that we always like to visit. Amazing place to relaxed walk or have a picnic. Dogs are welcomed but on some places you'll see a sign they have to be on a leash. Go& visit This Awesome County Park.
My first visit to this lovely park. The time of the day we went, it was quiet but a few cars in the car park. The walking paths are nice, and c is a children's play/picnic area and another older children's adventure type playground .An educational area for children to learn about the wildlife and park life. I did spy a deer but don't know if there are many. Benches for relaxing or resting are scattered around the paths and the view from one of the hills is beautiful.
We ran at the Bedfont Lakes parkrun an event that takes place in the park at 9;00 am every Saturday morning - we'll supported and a fantastic bunch of volunteers that set up and close it all down - giving the time up for the pleasure of others - a nice 2 lap course mostly on the gravel path
Beautiful park with multiple serene lakes and small boat rides in summer. Lots of birdlife, which includes waterfowl suchs as swans, canadian geese, ducks and coots.
Great for a walk. Leashed dogs. Benches. Lovely views and ducks )). There are toilets open most of the time on weekend and a car park is available. I love it. Will come back
I have been coming here for a number of years. Love how well looked after this park is. Definitely the biggest in the area and the most to see and do with younger children Barbeques and open flames not allowed Has a dog park, two large hills with excellent view points and also two car parks with overflow car parks for when its a busy day. More recently they have been also converted the lake for swan boat hire which is very cute indeed. 4 stars simply because I feel their parking can be tight sometimes but this should not take away from the fast that this is one of the best parks around.
