Bedgebury is an award winning visitor attraction. Open all year, Bedgebury is the perfect place for healthy outdoor activity. The National Pinetum is home to a world-leading collection of conifers and the landscapes provide beautiful settings for peaceful walks and picnics. The Bedgebury cafe has wonderful views across the pinetum. Bedgebury Forest has miles of family cycling and mountain-biking, walking, and running trails, as well as Go Ape tree top adventure, and an adventure play trail.
So much to do and see at Bedgebury. It's over an hour away for us but it's well worth the drive. We took the our girls bikes with us but you can hire bikes there. The cafe is good and the prices are fairly reasonable, there are also lots of picnic benches and benches along route to stop and enjoy a picnic. Children (2 and 5) loved the main play park but it does get quite busy. Car park is about PS14, pay on return. Overall great day out
Absolutely beautiful. So taken care of. Everywhere you look is a piece of art. Loads of parking, price ranging between PS4-PS15. Fun gruffalo trail for the kids
Brilliant experience. Amazing variety of trees. Great cafe. Peaceful walks. Calm, still waters. Great conservation. Easy parking.
A lovely place. Had a nice walk, it was so peaceful. Wonderful array of trees and woodland. Plenty of wildlife too. Popped in the cafe and it was only PS1.95 for a cup of tea. Overall the car park seems a little pricey but it isn't really. Enjoyed our walk and intend to return.
A beautiful place best for walking or cycling. Suitable for kids of all ages. Particularly loved the exhibition of photos about nature. Loads of parking. Good signage everywhere.
It's beauty. Such a great place. I'm thinking of dropping a star as it's so busy and popular but that's unfair but will drop a star for the extortionate parking charges PS14.50. Come on, that's not funny, especially for us that drove along time to visit. Plus the prices in a cafe are offensive too. That said, the mtb trails are good for Kent and well maintained. The scenery and woodlands are gorgeous and once clear of the park / go-ape the tranquility of the Pinetum is very rewarding and refreshing.
