Nice to spend a while here and have a little walk around. There's a cafe, playground, plenty of seats and some ducks and geese! Parking is in a fairly cheap pay and display car park.
Well-tendered flowers & shrubs with ponds to attract water-fowl. The weir is stunning as is the view of the historic mill ( awaiting renovation). A lovely oasis in town to relax abd charge your batteries!

Had no idea this was there, discovered by chance as needed to stretch our legs. Lovely little area with a cafe, children's play area and a kiosk for row boat rentals.
Lovely area with parking available at a good rate. Lovely cafe with ice-cream milkshakes and light lunches available too. River boats weren't open on the day we went but it says online that they are temporarily closed.
