Spontaneous trip to the museum with friends. Lovely staff, and lots to see. The boy's enjoyed reading about the different pieces and paintings. Nice little gift shop and cafe.
A lovely little gem of a place. So interesting and informative Lovely outside areas too and a smashing Cafe
So came here with the children they were interested in the things from the 80s .theres an air raid shelter a few shops and a lovely cafe to get a bite to eat and a drink .lovely park area to the rear and some nice history given on the buildings that used to be called the shambles that housed butchers and a jail .worth a visit if your in town . Bonus ... its free
We really enjoyed this museum which has a good collection of town memorabilia and information. It's well laid out and should have something of interest for most visitors. There are a few craft shops and an activity area for younger visitors, and a cafe. The museum is free and dogs are welcome. Definitely recommended.
Loved our visit to this museum. There's some thing for everyone including your dogs. The lady in the air raid shelter really knew her topic and made the shelter experience come alive. The food was beautifully presented and the gift shop had some amazing gifts
Always love this place and it's hidden garden. My children had fun doing the puzzles and dressing up as firemen and learning about the history.
