Beyond the Wall is a 2 acre walled garden within the Thornham Estate, Thornham Magna. The garden is a day provision for adults with learning difficulties, we provide purposeful work related activities within the garden and beyond. The individuals that attend the garden are known as 'Members'. The garden is fully maintained by the Members, we plant and propagate plants for sale and have a tea room that opens 10.30am-2pm on a Thursday.
What a fabulous walled garden. There are so many varieties of plants and trees. It was so peaceful in there with a huge greenhouse and tropical indoor plants growing up to the roof! There is a shop selling plants and a little cafe which is open certain days. I found myself looking up plants on my phone as lots of inspiration

Great for a level walk especially if you have a wheelchair or pram. Shaded walk on paved footpath, small garden centre in the woods.

Beautiful walled garden, superbly maintained. Lovely tea room with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Had a great coffee and lovely cake. Staff are fantastic. Dog friendly too. Would highly recommend - and it supports the charity too.
