A 19th-century, 181-metre-long, single-track, stone-built railway viaduct crossing the River Tweed, featuring 13 arches, each spanning 13.7 metres, with a maximum height of 30.5 metres above the river, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the river below.
A very nice and interesting place. There is a small bunker next to the toll building. You can also fish in the area, fishing from a boat is forbidden. Along the shoreline of the river you can reach some interesting places by walking (check maps). There is no parking near the bridge. The car can be parked on the side of the road if, of course, there is still room. Beautiful views all around.
An absolutely beautiful walk along the river. Great for walking the dog and flying my drone.
Hiked for miles to get to it and there's not even a pub nearby. What self respecting bridge doesn't lead to a pub?! Is quite pretty though and you can cross it which makes it functional as a bridge which is handy...given that's what it is.
Lovely bridge in a very scenic area!
It's lovely nostalgic place perfect for short walk or chilling out on riverbank
Beautiful location, very peaceful. Not really anywhere to park but worth a quick stop
Wheelchair-accessible car park
