This was our second visit to Bird Gardens Scotland CIC, and once again, we were absolutely delighted with our experience! We decided to book the Flamingo Experience this time around, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt the passion and dedication of the team. The Flamingo Experience was magical; it was more than we ever hoped for. Being up close with these beautiful birds was a dream come true, and the knowledge and enthusiasm of the staff made it even more special. Naomi took the time to share fascinating details about the flamingos, and her genuine care for the birds was evident throughout the experience. Bird Gardens Scotland CIC is a true gem, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Whether you're a bird lover or simply looking for a unique and enriching day out, this is the place to be. We will definitely be back for another visit soon! Thank you, Bird Gardens Scotland CIC, for creating such unforgettable memories!
Such a wee gem of a place. Staff are lovely, beautiful little gift shop and the food at the cafe looked good. I had a much needed ice coffee, which was fab. The birds are well looked after, and the variety was more than expected. Highly recommend a stop here to spend a few hours. Also, your ticket gets you entry for a year, which is fantastic
Absolutely loved it here, my two children aged 4 and 2 were entertained all day! Lots to see and do for them. Loved the indoor reptile handling too. Thank you so much for a lovely day. We will be back again for sure, next time we visit Scotland
Great value as a day pass is a years membership. Took us about an hour to stroll round. Pick up a good few bags of bird food as there are many different types of birds to feed. There is a small play park and a cafe. We only got drinks today but they were nice. Lots of benches and picnic are dotted along the route so lots of places to rest or have something to eat. Staff were very friendly. Not a huge amount of parking spaces but it's free.
This was a spontaneous visit on a road trip to Lauder, staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was great to see happy staff! We did not buy tickets on this occasion but visited the cafe and enjoyed coffee and cake, the selection was hard to chose from- everything looked delicious. We also managed to see some reptiles and birds and bought some gifts in the shop. I would definitely recommend and hope to return when we have more time.
Great find. Small but well laid out enclosures and freely walking birds (and some chillaxing Wallabies) with lots of interesting personalities!. Cafe looked good, albeit we had already made other lunch arrangement nearby. Impressive gift shop. Will definitely be back!
