This 46-hectare country park features a mix of woodland, grassland, and wetland habitats, with several walking trails, including the 1.5-kilometer Bishop's Wood Trail, and a 2-kilometer route around the lake. The carpark had spaces when I arrived at midday on Saturday. Good dog walking, but does not have dog waste bins as far as I could see. Ancient forest with banks that were dug in mediaeval times to mark property ownership boundaries.
The nearest Forest we found which is very nice with many conifers trees ,There also is free car parking
Great place to have a walk, very quiet and well-maintained.
