An excellent example of an overshot waterwheel mill and associated milling trades all encompassed in one museum. We're open for the 2024 season. Please note : we will be closed on Sunday September 15th 2024 for a private event.
Wonderful place, steeped in history. Gardens kept beautiful. Cheese scones a delight. A visit to the cafe well advised, Wonderful home baking and pleasant staff.
This is a great place to visit for children. Interactive and looks so much bigger than you realise. Parking is an issue if busy. Really helpful and welcoming. Lovely cafe cakes and tea. Nice garden.
Brilliant.. left it a bit late in the day for our visit, but they were so accommodating. Coffee and cake good too. I've lived here in Lydeard for many years.. never visited it.. it's a Charity, and such a gem of a place
Went on the steam train from Minehead and looked for places to visit and found the mill.....well worth a visit amazing place wonderfully set up and beautiful location. .... also a lovely little cafe.
