Small pleasant reserve. Parking is quite a walk from the ponds. There a good opportunities for dragonfly spotting and birdwatching. Sadly the cart bearing treats has now gone. Bit of an upgrade to the parking facilities lately.
This is the perfect place to take children for a bike ride. Our son is 5 and this was his first proper bike ride, he loved it and rode much further than we thought he would be he liked looking at everything we past. We stopped at the cafe because we came from devoran and then we came back all in all it was just short of 6miles and he was very warm out. The cafe served nice food and it's not ridiculously priced either. You will meet runners, walkers and other cyclists and everyone is very happy to say hello.
Beautiful walk through trees and along riversides. Lovely cafe to refresh you, and easy parking... Nice!
Bissoe is amazing weather walking or bike riding. Lovely cafe there to. Can get busy in summer but still worth a visit. We regularly walk our dog there
Nice walk. Free parking. Could do with more bins at the road junctions on the gates.
A lovely trail you can access from Devoran, and it leads to a mining trail. Wear thick soled shoes as the terrain is very stony the further you go, if you are walking.
