We are set within 18 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside in the village of Whitesmith. Our family run farm is home to lots of animals which have been carefully chosen for their variety, character and good nature. Our team of friendly and welcoming staff are always on hand to tell you all about them. In addition to our animals, we have a huge outdoor play area, farm walk, picnic area and baby area.
This is a great place but I was shocked to see that a 2 year old costs the same as an adult. I would also like to add that some of the play equipment gets very hot (we were there on a lovely sunny day but only around 23 degrees) and some of the surfaces were very hot and would benefit some shade ( the blue bit of the large bouncy sand area for example also some of the slides. The area for small babies did benefit from a good amount of shade. Animals are fun and very friendly. The pony rides wasn't open and really wanted for my granddaughter to do this as she loves horses. Maybe have an off peak price if things aren't open. That being said, the play area is huge and we enjoyed ourselves
***Please get a car before you visit this nice place*** Good place to visit with family for a day out. Kid's will surely enjoy. However please do not be deceived by the google maps telling you you can walk from Broomhams lane to this place as there is simply NO WALKWAY AND ITS A MOTORWAY. We were travelling with a kid's buggy and foolishly took Google maps' word for granted and were left stranded in the middle of a motorway, without any footpath or walkway. Extremely grateful to the Stagecoach 54 route bus driver who agreed to drop us off right in front of the park and also pick us from there.
BlackBerry farm is wonderful. The up close experience with the animals is brilliant, being able to hand feed many, including deer. The staff are extremely friendly, Lucy is amazing. Always engaged, and very informative and super friendly.
This place is a really superb day out. It's impeccably clean and tidy with really energetic and friendly staff. The animals appear happy and healthy . The play area in this place is second to none. It's got the lot. Special mention to Pippa who was an absolute credit to you. Thanks for a great day out. Pumpkin the farmyard cat was my daughter's favourite, followed closely by the guinea pigs
