Nice flat space with path round the outside of the field. There's a basketball court and kids' playground. Popular with dog walkers and a lot of poo around, which is a real shame. Twice when I have visited there has been smashed glass in the kids playground. Basically it would be a lovely place if not for obnoxious people using it.
Nice playground for little kids, never too busy. The usual, generally unused basketball hoop, unless the guy with the carrier bags is there. Lots of space for ball games but mainly a dog walking spot. Lends itself to jogging, the loop around the field isn't too long, so great for as many laps as you can manage, before heading home.
