We had a lot of fun painting the ceramics. We weren't sure how they would come out, but they look great! I've used the mug every day since.
I had previously written a review on the Blakemere Village page, but that seems to have vanished so just leaving this one again due to a very good experience. I visited Blakemere with my friend who was over from New Zealand, and we spent a bit of time talking to the wonderful owner at QC Antiques - what a fantastic chap. Very knowledgeable and gave me some free advice.
Charming little shopping outlet with independent traders, it was fairly quite on a gloomy Monday afternoon but still lots to see and do- we visited the birds of prey enclosures (fee payable) broused around several antique shops with some really unusual items and gifts for sale, had some great coffee and Cake, bought some gorgeous cheeses & chutney and explored the fairy shop and came away with a 'fairy door' for the granddaughter. I'm pretty sure it's free parking and lots to see and do for the family, sadly the funfair wasn't open that day ( but it was March and a monday) all in all a charming little place to visit
Great for younger children. Reminded me of pontins as a kid. Negative the toilets are a good walk away from the field and pubs. Shower block very clean
Excellent experience, painting pottery from ornaments, to practical items like mugs, bowls etc. From PS6 to PSPSPS, friendly staff, coffee and drinks available. Good family experience.
Magical Woodland was a great place for a walk and plenty to keep the kids entertained right through. Nice lighting, fog, interactive sections, birds of prey and food (including toasted marshmallows). Lots of free parking. Food and some kids rides before you get in or as your leaving. Absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend it.
