A serene and picturesque lake offering a range of boating activities, including rowing, sailing, and motorboating, surrounded by lush greenery and scenic walking trails, perfect for a relaxing day out or an adventure-filled experience.
Really lovely place. Beautiful rose gardens, free to enjoy. We did row boats and peddle boats. All the kids said peddles was most fun. The ice cream was nice and they enjoyed feeding the ducks. Good place to take the dog too - but they can't go on the boat, obviously.
Great urban lake in the area with nice walk and pedal and row l boats. Also Some elec boats too. Some limited free parking available. PS15 for boat session.
Really enjoyed walking around the lake, the way the three parks connect together makes it a great little walking route. The ice cream from the cafe is really good and reasonably priced.
Difficult to find parking at any time of day I recommend either outside the stables or for short visits the dentist over the road, but the walk and gardens are a lovely place to spend a few hours in peace. We love to take family pictures in the rose arches.
My girls loved the fun in the park, great to see pop up stalls and duck racing
Nice cafe, great walk around the lake. The dog loves it, and you can continue your walk across the road and under the viaduct into the park where there's another cafe, but the coffees are a bit roapy.
