A scenic country park featuring a large lake surrounded by woodland and grasslands, offering walking trails, picnic areas, and opportunities for birdwatching and fishing.
Easy to park (though it's pay for parking) wheelchair friendly, great for dogs. nice cafe though dogs not allowed in the cafe there's plenty outside seating area. Toilets by the cafe
Lovely walks in beautiful surroundings with our dogs, lots of seats, picnic tables and viewing platforms and a well placed hide to watch the wildlife. Clean toilets. Cafe is great with a good selection of hot and cold food and sweet treats. The cheese scones are the best I have tasted and the home made cakes are exceptional. Lemon and poppy seed is fab, along with the ginger cake! Staff are friendly and clearly enjoy their days in the cafe. Thank you for a great lunch after our walks. We often walk, and eat there and are never disappointed.
We always come here for a quick walk to stretch our legs, get car park, facilities and beautiful sceneries, and great paths with benches all over the place. Also, if you like a treasure hunt! There are about 6 geocaches on site!! Download the app and get collecting! Very fun game and always turns our walks fun
Lovely circular walk around lake. Plenty seats to relax and enjoy the views. There is a cafe but I can't comment as we didn't use. Plenty parking ( it is a pay parking).
One of our favourite little walks. Lots of parking and good facilities. The dog loved it and so do the kids.
This is a lovely place to go for a short walk, we were there on a Monday afternoon, the park was not busy how ever there were some people waking dogs and some families enjoying the out doors. Sadly the coffee shop is closed Monday and Tuesday, so we missed having a snack and a coffee, the toilet facilities are basic but usable. We enjoyed our trip and would recommend it for a short walk and a good spot for a picnic.
