This 62-acre park in Nottingham, England features a large lake, walking trails, and plenty of green space for picnics and relaxation. The park is also home to a variety of wildlife, including swans, ducks, and fish, and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Visitors can enjoy boating on the lake, playing sports on the park's fields, or simply taking in the scenery.
Great open space with plenty of tarmac footpaths. Walk around the lake to spot the artwork and read the information boards. Stand on the deck to watch the swans and ducks. Zip line and basket ball hoop for older kids. Walk around to the band stand with open field for playing ball or running about. Enclosed play area for children. Walk around the house foundations and stop for a brew at the cafe and visit the loo if needed. You can then wander around the woods to spot squirrels and loop back around to the lake.
Very much like this park. Usually go to Hartsholme Park which is 5 minutes from us but is now just mud everywhere and becoming scruffier and scruffier. Assume due to lack of staff and money. Boultham did have some muddy area this morning but you have lovely tarmac paths to walk on so can stay relatively clean. There are two play areas for kids, a cafe and plenty of large grass areas to throw the ball for your dogs. Relatively safe for dogs apart from some openings leading out onto a very busy road. From a distance the openings appear to have gates attached which presumably could be closed? I know my friend will not take her dog to this park as she is so frightened he will end up on the road. The lake is beautiful with loads of different birds on. Overall, the park is kept pristine and would be a great place to visit at all times of the year, especially in the Summer. Large car park at entrance with no charge!
Nice walking park, plenty to kid kids busy. Dogs enjoyed themselves as well.
Not visited this park for a few years and very impressed. Lovely place to take small grandson to play and explore walks around the park and nearby. Very popular with dog walkers. We were pleasantly surprised with how neat and tidy the grounds were. Also visited the small cafe for coffee whilst we were there. We will be visiting again.
Beautiful little hidden country gem on the outskirts of Lincoln.
Lots of paths and woodland to walk around. Large grass area for ball games. Small playground but a decent amount for children to play on. Great for what we wanted and we enjoyed a picnic and a lovely afternoon out. Will definitely come again and try out the cafe another time. Plenty of parking.
