Lovely park. We love coming out on sunny days and strolling through. There are many intersecting trails to explore and even when it's busy you don't seem to cross paths with many people. The parking is also very cheap at only PS3 for the whole day and they have an overflow car park should the main one fill up. I definitely recommend!
Very beautiful forest with trees from around the world. Parking is 3PS for full day. There's a shop, toilets and a playground near the car park. A mausoleum is hidden into the woods. In general there's some interesting history surrounding the place. Many dog walkers and kids. Show some dirt bikes going through the forest so watch out and not let loose kids or dogs far from you.
Beautiful place to visit, lovely walks. Went to the cafe and enjoyed a coffee and something to eat. Car parking was PS2 for 2 hours which we thought was reasonable as the don't charge an entrance fee. We will definitely go again.
Great walks from new forest to broadleaves and a beautiful heath area. Parking is PS3 coins only. A nice cafe and dog friendly.
Easily found with the postcode Ip29 0su. The car park costs PS2 for 2 hours, or PS3 for any time over. Payment is by cash, card, or the Ring-go app. Toilets available. A cafe. Outdoor seating area. Children's climbing frame area. Dogs allowed but on leads only. The paths are manageable, and suitable for buggies with big wheels only. Walking boots or wellies advised as the paths are not concrete. Do take a picture of the map before you set out, as its quite easy to get lost in this forest. To note, it's not very busy during the week. Great for a family walk.
Nice part of Thetford. Good walks from the park. Cafe on site is reasonably priced. Car park is only PS3 for the day. Would recommend and return.
