This is a more older park. We took a 2 year old, and I struggled to get him into the babies swings, they were so tall. There were loads to do for older children. It would be lovely to take a picnic. Approx 10 play things for children and a large piece of grass to play on. There were also some grown-up pieces of gym to use. Lovely park and well worth a trip, not a massive amount of parking.
I like this park as it's local for me to take my little one, the only thing I will say is that there aren't many toddler friendly apparatus, there is only 1 slide which i find is quite difficult for a 2 year old to climb up to.
An enclosed green and play-park with parking. The play equipment is not really suitable for toddlers - only swings. New zip-line has been added to the existing equipment, which consists of swings and a climbing frame/slide. Park exercise equipment is also available. The park is kept nice and clean by the residents whose gardens back onto the park. Great for footie or learning to ride a bike though the grass can be a bit tussocky! A nice quiet space to spend an hour letting the children unwind. No dogs allowed, so nice and clean.
Would have been better if parents would have disciplined their kids and not just let them rule over the play equipment as if they owned it not to mention the fact that they didn't apologies to the parents of kids who their kids had been hitting
