Coastal park in a former rock quarry featuring scenic trails, birdwatching & a lake with fishing.
Great pleasant walk. Nice views and a cafe. Bit risky to let the dogs off their lead due to cliff edges. Parking is a bit expensive. But still well worth a visit.
Breakwater country park is a beautiful place to visit. Once you park your car you only have to walk a short distance to be treated to some wonderful coastal views. This is a place myself and family will be visiting again hopefully in the very near future.
Very nice park with lots of walks including up Holyhead Mountain. Also around the cliff tops to South Stack.
Lovely area with a nice cafe, a pond, a monument, remant of a brick factory. Walking trails, picnic areas, and kids play areas. It's worth a visit.
Quite a pleasant visit very quiet and enjoyable. The visitor centre has been upgraded and extended with modern exhibits and a film of the local area on a large tv.
Lovely place to walk, loads of routes both flat and up the mountain to the north-west. Eastwards you can follow the coastal path along to the breakwater and head out to sea for 2km along it for what feels like an age but worth it when you reach the lighthouse where you can watch the cruise-liners and Dublin ferry arrive/depart.
