An excellent train ride on a heritage steam train. The journey is pleasant and the carriages comfy. You can stand on the outer part of the train carriage which is a great advantage. The vistas are grand on the journey and the stopping places are pretty. Cafe was excellent (we had tea and a slice of cake) though the portions were large.

Thank you to all the lovely staff at Brecon Mountain Railway, we had a lovely few hours here. The train ride was great with gorgeous views along with a helpful commentary. Our dog enjoyed himself too and was made very welcome. Cafe was inviting and the toasted teacake was massive. Thoroughly recommend visiting.

Excellent day out book the 13.00 trip. The views are wonderful, enjoyed the stop on the way back. The shop and cafe are great, staff so very helpful. Good car parking. The only downside is finding it with all the road works, it needs some tourist board signage

An enjoyable 1h 20mins trip. With a 30 minute break. Plenty of facts of the railway and life how it was in this area. Great scenary on this trip for the very young and for the old too. The BEST moving attraction in South Wales. Well done to all the staff that work here. Thank you.

Wonderful experience. Missed our train by 4 mins due to roadworks they very helpfully moved our tickets to the next train, I was a bit daunted about killing 2 hours with a 3 year old and a 4 year old but there was plenty to do! Great little cafe, lovely model railway, interesting workshop and a lovely little stroll to a viewing platform and that was before we did the train! Train ride was stunning, would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful trip, highly recommended. The train staff were very friendly and informative. The views were beautiful. There is also a great miniature railway at Pant where you set off from, a workshop and excellent souvenir shop.
